Teamwork and Team Building Workshop
Teamwork is an integral part of our daily lives, whether at home, in the community, or in the workplace. A strong team can significantly benefit any organization, leading to greater success.
The Teamwork and Team Building Workshop encourages participants to delve into the various aspects of a team and discover how they can excel as top-notch team performers. Participants will learn the fundamentals of what constitutes a team and the key factors contributing to successful teamwork.
Workshop Objectives:
- Understand the Concept of a Team: Explore the definition of a team and the factors contributing to its success.
- Phases of Team Development: Learn about the Tuckman team development model, including Forming, Storming, Norming, and Performing, and understand the characteristics of each phase.
- Types of Teams: Identify the three different types of teams.
- Leadership and Followership: Discover actions to take as a leader and a follower in each of the four phases of team development.
- Team-Building Activities: Discuss the uses, benefits, and drawbacks of various team-building activities.
- Practical Team-Building Activities: Learn several team-building activities and the settings in which they can be effectively used.
- Leading Team Meetings: Develop strategies for setting and leading productive team meetings.
- Problem-Solving Strategies: Utilize the Six Thinking Hats model and a consensus-building approach to address team problems.
- Encouraging Teamwork: Identify actions to foster teamwork and those to avoid.
